I know I can reset the statistics for test from the web interface which seems to use java script. I was wondering if there is a way to automat this through a macro in excel.
I have to supply a way for the Director of IT to get monthly Metrics of all test performed. SO what I did was write some sql quieries that pull the data from the database (mysql) and then inserts them into the spreadsheet. I created a macro in the spreadsheet that automaticly does this for him. Now what I am looking to do is to create another macro that he can run that will reset the statistics after he gets his metrics. He does not want to have to do this manually through the web interface or by logging into host monitor. He wants to do it all from within the spreadsheet.
Is this possible?

Actually, HostMonitor allows you to reset statistics automatically. You should use "Reset statistics" option (Folder Properties dialog) -
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... FolderTree
"Reset statistics" option allows you to setup a schedule to reset statistical information for the tests: daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly. Also you may specify an action profile, which will be executed before reseting statistics.
