Alert Profile - Only Once Per Day

How about an Alerting Option where you only send the alert once per day ... I have a test which looks for the arrival of a file from a third party ... Once it's here, I get an e-mail ... However, if I restart Host Monitor, I get another e-mail that the file is here ... How about an option to "Alert only once per day" when setting up an alert ...

This may happen when HostMonitor cannot save current test statuses and statistical information. Probably you have disabled "Store statistics in HML file" or "Store Recurrences in HML file" option. These options located on Preferences page in the Options dialog.
Also this may happen when HostMonitor is started as service and you have set "When service is being stopped: discard all changes" option (see Service Page in the Options dialog).
