Intentions
I have a server sitting in our DMZ, port 1055 is open.
I will purchase HostMonitor Professional for $275.
I will install HostMonitor on this server.
I will purchase a set of 10 Remote Monitoring Agents for $100.
I will install one of these agents at each of the remote locations.
I will configure my 20 or so tests for each location on my HostMonitor server and be done with it.
Questions
Do I need to spend the extra $50 on RMA Manager? I understand it allows me to do group updates and such but is it really necessary?
Can the RMAs test things that are not on the computer they are installed on? In other words... If I install RMA on my clients server can it test that business owners laptop for say virus found messages in the Event Log?
Is there anything you would like to add to cover stuff I have not thought of yet?
