Sound alerts via PC speaker

Hi!

I see sound alerts can be WAV or MID file, but can the software simply beep the PC speaker? I don't have a sound card in my server, and nor would it work in VMware where I have Hostmonitor installed. PC speaker beeps make it through in VMware. I twould be nice to set the number of beeps or to have it beep continuously until the issue is Good or Acknowledged.

Or if there is an option I'm missing, please let me know.

We spent hundreds of hours to implement sophisticated alert methods and you want simple beep that can be produced by single line of code?
If you type "beep command line", any search engine will find hundreds of such programs, most of them freeware.
Ok, I have compiled one for you - special edition
www.ks-soft.net/download/utils/beep.exe - command line utility, single parameter tells how many beeps should be generated.
