sms problem

Post by ttewes »

Hi,

we use HostMonitor 6.42c on MS Server 2003
HostMonitor runs as service.

we want to use sms, but if HostMonito sends an sms the sms looks like:

AT+CMGS="0172*******" drivespace down to 10GB

but it should only send :

drivespace down to 10GB

we use a Nokia 6210 Mobilephone connected at Com1

Have you an idea?

Thanks in advance

Could you send the [GSM] section of hostmon.ini file to support@ks-soft.net? Do you get the correct message when you are using "SMS Test" window (Options > GSM > Test)?

I have send the GSM section at support@ks-soft.net

If we use the "SMS Test" , the sms looks also like:

AT+CMGS="0172*******" Test message

We recommend to use PDU mode with Nokia phones. Please, select PDU from the "Mode" dropdown in "Options" > "GSM" tab.

Could you try to specify "Baud rate" as 19200?
