Hi, I am using Host Monitor, it is woking fine. But the problem is :-
I have installed Full HostMonitor with RMA Manager on one server and RMA on other servers in different VLANs.
When i configure RMA in
Application status: Active
and minimize the RMA everything work fine.
but when i logoff the server, RMA also close. Because of this in RMA Manager this agent status is off and tests status come to bad or unknown in RMA VLANs.
When i install RMA agent is service mode.
RMA Manager connect properly but the test status still bad or unknown.
It means for using RMA Agent, RMA Agent must be in application mode?
Can anybody help me what i should do now?

Re: Need Help in RAM for Windows
No, it is not. You just should specify account, that has necessary rights, to start the RMA service. You may do it using standard windows Services applet (Start > Run > services.msc > "KS Remote Monitoring Agent" > "Log On" tab)basit wrote:It means for using RMA Agent, RMA Agent must be in application mode?
We recommend to start RMA under admin account.

Sure. http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... tm#Servicebasit wrote:Can i Run Host Monitor in service mode??
We recommend to start HostMonitor under admin account also. However, we do not recommend to change account using windows Services applet. You may specify account to start HostMonitor using menu Options > Service tab. Quote from the manual:
==================
When HostMonitor starts as a service, it uses the system account (as all interactive services). But this account may not have all the necessary permissions, so some tests will not work correctly (UNC test, "disk free space" test for shared drives, "CPU Usage" test for remote machines, etc). If you need these tests, you will need to assign a special user account on the Service page in the Options dialog. In this case HostMonitor will impersonate the security context of the user. Do not change the account using the system utility "Services". If you do so, HostMonitor may be unable to interact with the desktop.
