E-mail body "<> File too big (over 16K)"

Post by Przemo »

HI!
I use Host Monitor 5.92 (running on Win 2000 Prof. SP4).
I have one problem with sending reports as an email body (HTML). Everything is fine but when the report reaches the limit of 16 Kb in the email I can only see :
<> File too big (over 16K)
Maybe it's not a bug but normal functionality of Host Monitor that there is such limit, but for me 16 Kb is completly not enough!
Can this limit be rised (if not ad hoc, maybe in new HM's version)? Why it's 16 Kb and what is the reason of this limitation?

Thank You in advance for Your help.

Limitation is probably for resource saving. Its not good to send GB log files.
So, how big e-mail do you need? 32K will be enough for you?

I just only need to send e-mails in HTML (to have messages with better legibility): list of 100 tests (count files) for several servers with columns: name, status, reply, last test time, averange reply and max reply. I've optimized HTML code, but 16 kb is still not enough.
64 kb should be OK.
