I figured it out. The trick was to copy the rest of the files into C:\ProgramData\HostMonitor.

The help link isn't that specific about it so maybe a good hint to add it in there.

Have you copied ALL files (*.HML, *.LST, *.INI) before you start HostMonitor? or you copied some files, start HostMonitor, close it, then copied other files? Hello, I moved the hostmonitor program to a different server (from Win10 Prof to WinServer 2008 R2) but I don't get the alarm settings and email server settings copied over.
