Yes it works, and it is a bit automatic, but it requires maintaining seperate tests and actions for several (20-30) automation processes and more to come.. If I could do it programatically via telnet, I would not have to manage those tests, and I could do it without worrying about timings or frequen...

Yes that works, and it is what I do now, but the programs that I run to generate/update the tests automatically would be a bit more seamless if it could fully automate the import process as well.

Telnet Ideas

Can we have the ability to "ImportTestList" and "SaveTestList" available from the telnet service? It would be quite helpful for my automation processes.

We are not using any proxies, and I did install HM on another system (7.7b) I created the same test and it runs as HTTP 1.1

I was intrigued so I set HM up to run as a service and while running as a service the request is sent as HTTP 1.0

I hope this helps.

We used the option 'direct to net'.

Can the HTTP test use IWA (Integrated Windows Authentication)?

A packet trace shows the GET request as HTTP/1.0. The custom header works as it should. These requests as HTTP 1.0 have issues with some of our sites directly and any sites tested through our web accellerator (it only supports HTTP 1.1) GET /Pages/Default.aspx HTTP/1.0 Accept-Language: en-us UA-CPU:...

URL Request HTTP/1.1

Is there any way to have the URL test use HTTP 1.1 as we have a couple sites that will not test properly through HTTP 1.0.

I looked at this page, and the page itself loads quite quickly. It is the flash that seems to take a while. I am not sure what can be done about this.

Under Advanced parameters, modify the test to search for some content on the page (something loaded last), or if the page is static use a checksum. Without this HM is just checking for a response form the server.

User profile 'Home folder' disappears

I have an interesting issue. The home folder specified for several of my users disappears when one of my maintenance tasks executes. The maintenance task basically imports/creates new tests for servers. The home folder directory I have specified for the users is Root\Servers\. After the import task,...
