I have partially added the test that you suggest. Using only step 1 and 2. This seems to do the trick.
What is the function of step 3?

NT event log test warning after multiple errors
Hi! As I am having some problems with a win2003 server, I would like to set up the following test, but I am not shure if it is possible. The problems generate a lot of errors in the NT system event log. I would like to have a test that e.g. warns me if there have been 10 errors in the log since the ...

Status recorded into the log
Hi again. I am already using the option to generate reports on a schedule. What I wanted was the status off all tests recorded into the log at a specific time, just like the midnight logging. This would be a great feature as it would make it easier to calculate up/down-time within the garanteed upti...

RCC error
Hi! Im running HM 6.80 on a win2003x64 server, and RCC product version 2.0.0.0, file version 2.0.5.46 on a Win2003 Terminal server. We have 3 licences for the RCC and they are all in use daily. The RCC pops with an error a couple of times each day. The errormessage displays "Folder not found&qu...

Possible macro-bug.
Hi! When I test hosts, I use macro's in the the test-name, e.g. I want to test for free space on a host. I use the free space test via RMA. In Test Name I use a macro: %Agent%: C:\ Free Space test. This works exellent, as I can copy the test and only have to change the agent. And I get the hostname ...

Return file-date/time
Hi!
I would really much like to see HostMon to be able to do a check on a file's date/time(it can already), and then return the timestamp, so that you can use the timestamp in an action via a macro. For example so that the timestamp can be sent via email or sms.
Kind Regards
Hanus

Returning file-date and time
Hi! (again :) ) I have a test using Folder/file availability. I use it to check if a file is older than 24 hours. If its older, then I get an sms. This works fine. I am wondering if it is possible to get the files date/time returned in the sms? I cant seem to find any macros that can return this. Is...
