The system is running Hostmon 7.2 on Windows 2000 SP4. Hostmon is started as a service. I am not using RCC in this instance. The target is a Win2k3 machine. Get Current Value always returns 0.00 Hostmonitor is running under a Domain Admin account. Remote Registry is indeed started on the target Both...

Microsoft Message Queues/Checking
I am trying to add a check along these lines: \\server-docm\MSMQ Queue(server-docm\quotations)\Messages in Queue First, whenever I try to edit the parameters, it tells me: Unable to connect to machine However if I click the OK, I can select my way to the machine. The polled result is -always- 0.00 o...

Select WorkingSetSize from Win32_Process where Caption=''
I have a few tests that use this format. However, after the latest update (7.10) they always return "Unknown" which is the default if it cannot find the process.
Anything I can check to see why it stopped working after the upgrade?

Huh?
The RMA port is 1055 for a specific RMA. THe RMA works just fine. If, however, I set up a TCP Test to port 1055 to that specific RMA, it always comes back as down.

TCP Test
Ok, I set up a new TCP test to the remote IP RMA port of 1055. Do I need to send data? It always shows down for all tests I set up this way even though the RMAs are up.

Hostmonitor Status with Service
I noticed in the new version of Hostmonitor that the tray icon appeared (that was an awesome addition btw), however it has vanished and I can not seem to get it back. Any ideas?

Test for RMA Availability
I am probably being dense, but is there a way to make a test to check to see if an RMA agent is alive before running the tests connected to it?

Overall Summery Report
Is there a way to have hostmonitor send out an email once an hour with the number of alerts up/down? Basically an overall status?
Thanks
Thanks

I have a couple of different tests, one is: select VirtualSize from Win32_Process where caption='STORE.EXE' It returns 280371200 - which I would assume is ~2.8gb of memory, however if I actually look on the server, it is using 2.1gb. The second is: select VirtualSize from Win32_Process where caption...

Restart Service
I am interested in setting up an alert profile that can be tied to tests that check for services having failed or stopped. Is there a way to create a script to detect which test (and thus, which service) failed and have it try to restart that one, or do I need to make a profile for each service?

ODBC/SQL
I am trying to get all of the logging into SQL server, and it works when I have the application open on the desktop, but it does not work in either RCC or if I have Hostmon running as a service. I am sure I missed something important, but I can't figure out what.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Can I hide RMA from prying eyes?
Can I set it so an ignorant person cannot turn it off or interact with it?

Exactly!
We have 3 different people that use RCC, and each one wants the display (color, font, layout, columns) to display differently. Saving those selections by username would be awesome.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is it possible to have different display profiles for different RCC logins?
Thanks.
