i am trying to add it in test properties lets say in "test name" but it keeps showing as "%AlertThreshold%" instead of showing value. other values are working like %host% or %path%. Why ?

I managed to use a tool on my windows xp called snmpwalker & it also worked fine which means there is a problem with hostmonitor C:\usr\bin>snmpwalk -c public -v2c 192.168.10.172 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.145.3.163.1.1.2.13 SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.42.2.145.3.163.1.1.2.13.0 = Counter64: 532742144 Danny

One more thing - i am doing my tests from the "test properties" screen
in which you can define "address[:port]" whcih i did correctly otherwise i would get agent not found (tried it too).

Thanks

No, i mean once i create an alert for server A & i want to use the same for Server B i can copy the once already created for A to B BUT i wil then need to change the correct settings for server B. I was wondering if there is a way to use for example %server_ip% instead of hard coding an IP etc ....

variables

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a convenient way to copy alert from one server to another without the need to make manual changes.
For example by using variables but not just in comments?

Thanks
Danny
