OK, then I didn't need to re-register (I thought so).

I guess some other application must have been using that port--occasionally before and more persistently now.

I didn't realize I had to re-register upon upgrade. Ok, I did that, registered and still got the same message. Then I changed the port from 1054 to 2054 on both HM and RCI, restarted services, and now it works. I'm not sure why it wouldn't before...I checked in task manager and always only one insta...

Unfortunately, it happens using the IP as well, and yesterday I saw the error on a Windows Event monitor. Our network security is ever-changing with upgrades, patches, and lock downs so who knows if/when they will come up with anything. I'll probably end up unchecking "treat unknown as bad"...
