Hi,
We had an issue whereby a Traffic Monitor test is reporting that a modest amount of traffic (approx 4kbps) is flowing over an ISDN circuit which is linked to our core router.
The problem is that when I've spoke to our network team they've checked the affected interface and it's not currently being utilited.
Can anyone give any pointers as to what might be causing this? Or alternatively could someone tell me what OID I would need to check to see the counter that this test uses?
Many thanks
Pete
Traffic Monitor Issue
Incoming traffic OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.<interface index>
Outgoing traffic OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.<interface index>
If you are using SNMPv2, HostMonitor requests 64bit counters
Incoming traffic OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6.<interface index>
Outgoing traffic OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10.<interface index>
Regards
Alex
