Error: String is too long. File may be corrupt.

Hi,

i have an issue when trying to connect via RCC to HM.

it tried to connect but then after Retreving test list.. it says the below error

Error: String is too long. File may be corrupt.

i dont think it is carrupt as HM is working ok.

i am using RCC Version 7.78 and HM verson 7.78

I think, you are trying to utilize rcc.exe from older HostMonitor package. Please, copy the newest rcc.exe from HostMonitor folder.

i have already done this. the are both version 2.74.0.119.

It seems to be an old version. The newest version is 2.78.0.127.

Probably, rcc.exe was not updated with HostMonitor. You may start installation program in "Update/repair" mode, choose "Custom" package and install RCC only. http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... tm#Install
