Statistics: Dependencies Alive Time - Total Time - Dead Time

Post by LoosInt »

Hello,

we use AHM V7.10 and i have a question about the Statistics.

For example i have a test which has a

Alive % of 98,21
Dead % of 1,78
Unknown % of 0,01

Total Time 642 days 16:39:54
Alive Time 618 days 05:40:53
Dead Time 24 days 09:23:54
Unknown Time 01:23:03

How are the dependencies between the "days" and the percents calculated ?
If i enter the values in excel an let excel calculate the percents other values are shown :-) ....

Excel shows:
Alive % of 96,19
Dead % of 3,79 ......

Thanks for an answer.
Greetings
Thomas

What about number of passed/failed tests? There is option that allows you to choose what data should be used for alive/dead ratio.

Quote from the manual
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... m#MiscReps
- Display Alive/Dead ratio of passed/failed tests
- Display Alive/Dead ratio of alive/dead time

This switch defines how Alive/Dead/Unknown ratio should be calculated: it is either based on quantity of passed/failed probes (HostMonitor version 3 and 4 supported this mode only) or based on alive/dead time (new mode). New mode is useful when you setup HostMonitor to change test intervals for failed tests.
