User Profile Problem

Post by eddymicro »

Hello,

This is a very basic question but I have searched all over and cannot figure out how to edit/Add/Delete IP address in some parts of the user interface.

In User profiles
When I go to the User profile section I want to add or modify ip addresses in the "accept remote connections from" section. If I create a new user there are no IP Addresses listed. I cannot figure out the correct keystroke to add a new row to this section. The user Admin already has an IP address so on that entry I can edit the existing entry, put a check mark in the box, but I do not see how to delete the row either.

This occurs in a few places for example in the rma_cfg.exe "accept connections from the following addresses" this also exists and I can't add or delete entries here either. In the case of rma_cfg I found the .ini file and have worked around the problem.

Regards,

Ed

If you hit "Help" button, answer will be right there :wink:
Quote from the manual
Also you can specify a list of IP addresses authorized for remote connections for each of the accounts.
Please note:
- to insert new address press INSERT button; to remove item press CTRL+DEL;
- you may specify ranges of IP addresses from which a connection may be accepted. E.g. 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.100;
- you may use '0.0.0.0' IP address. If you specify 0.0.0.0 address, HostMonitor will accept incoming connections from ANY address.

User Profile Problem

Hello,

Thanks for the quick answer. For some reason when I press F1 I get "Windows API error" Error description not available. I've been ignoring this and using the online manual, but now I see it would be better to fix this. Do you know what is wrong?
