Connection Manager

Connection Manager

Running version 6.75 as a service.
Currently need to run a new task to count files, which is fine.
But I can not connect to the file to count them, OK I think...
So I attempted to go into Connection Manger to add an account for it to login
to the server. But I can not enter any information or check a task box. It is basically a dead window. Is this because I am running it as a service??

What account have you specified to start HostMonitor's service? By default, HostMontior's service is started under "Local System" account, but "Local System" account does not have access to the network functions. We recommend to start HostMonitor's service under admin account. You may specify certain account using menu "Options" -> "Startup" -> "Service" tab. Please note: Do not change the account using the system utility "Services". If you do so, HostMonitor may be unable to interact with the desktop.

If you have 0 records, then you cannot modify anything. You should create record using "New record" button.
