Folder/file availability

Post by Nadir »

Hi,

If I configure a test like that:

File or folder name: \\@ip\dir1\dir2
alert when file exists and older than 90
Is this test ckecks "date modified" for directory dir2 ?

Thanks for help

I assume "dir1" is name of shared network resource? Then yes, it will check availability and modification timestamp of the directory (or file) dir2 that is accessible thru resource dir1.

I just do not understand why do you use \\@ip
You should use IP address or hostname of the server without "@", e.g. \\192.168.5.10\resourcename\foldername

Yes
In this case, "Folder/File Availability" test will check availability and modification timestamp of the directory (or file) dir2 that is accessible thru resource dir1. So, you may setup a test without hesitation.
