We are using a tool to automatically shutdown the server where HostMonitor is running a couple of times a week. We have the automatic reboot option selected.
The problem is shutdown, the following text is in the message box on the console "This Windows application can not respond to the End Task request. It may be busy, waiting for a response from you, or it may have stopped executing."
So, its HostMonitor "application can not respond to the End Task request"? Do you see any message from HostMonitor? Like "Changes to the TestList have not been saved. Save now?"? HostMonitor can display this prompt and wait for your choice if TestList contains unsaved changes.
