I would like to create a test which checks every 24 hours for the number of occurences of a list of specific id's in the Application log and get Hostmonitor to let me know if a certain number is exceeded ie. if there are 20 or more occurences over a 24 hour period I would like notification.
Can anyone think of a way of doing this ?

How to setup the test?
- Use irregular schedule to start NT Event Log test once a day
- Specify event log, event source (optionally) and list of IDs
- Select "Report about all bad events" test option
How to setup action assigned to the test?
- Set "Start when" to 20 (consecutive Bad results)
- Set "Repeat" to "1 time"
