Can you output the results of a ping test to a .txt file
You may use text common or private log file

Hi Alex. Maybe Glen is wondering the same thing I am....
I have a device that has been going up/down. I want to send an e-mail to a co-worker, with the statistics of this ping test over the last few days.
When I open up "Log Analyzer", in the right window is a list of all the up/down info that I need. But for the life of me, cannot figure out how to get this data into an e-mail. If I select the text and right click, I was hoping their would be a "copy" available, and then I could "paste" it into an e-mail. Or maybe an "export" option, that would allow me to export that data into a .txt file. But these don't seem to exist.
There is a "copy image to clipboard" but that is just the graph of the data.
I have not read the manual on this yet... and I'm a noobie with Log Analyzer... but saw this post while I was looking for info and thought I'd chime in. I'll keep looking...

Hi Alex. I will read up on private logs. My current understanding is that I would need to set up private logs for all 800 of my tests, which seems like a lot of work. And it won't help me with my current task, since I didn't have private logs running for the last few weeks.
But I have not studied the concept yet.

Figured it out.
Ah... even though I can't right click and choose "copy", I can simply do a "control-C" and it copies all the data, and it is easily pasted into an e-mail... exactly what I needed.
Now I have a list like this:

Log Analyzer may generate report and create separate log file (HTML) for each test item. You just need to use %DetailedLogFile% variable in report template

Hi Alex. Sorry for the confusion earlier. Yes, I said I have ONE device going up and down, but if a private log is the option for viewing historical data in text format, then I would have had to be running Private Logs for all 800 devices (or be able to see the future to know which devices are going to be problematic, then enable Private logs for just those devices).
But this basic "cut and paste" method in Log Analyzer is absolutely PERFECT for my needs and I'm glad that this option is available via control-C, even if "copy" isn't mentioned in the right-click menu. Thanks for that.
Also, thanks for the info about generating a custom report. This is also a great idea, and I will give this a try.
