snmp v3

Does HostMonitor support snmp v3? If not, will it soon?

As I know, HM uses Windows API (mgmtapi.dll). According to Microsoft, Windows 2000/XP/2003 supports SNMP v2c only.

Our agency has been mandated to go to SNMP v3 in the very near future for managing network devices. Is there any update as to whether (or when) HostMonitor plans to support it? Note that WhatsUp Pro 2006 does now.

Yes, HostMonitor uses Windows API that supports SNMP v1 and v2.
Not sure Microsoft will implement v3, that's why we have such task in our "to do" list. This task has medium priority, so I cannot guarantee it will be implemented really soon.
