I know you have variables and I use them in some places, but I a not sure if I can make them work for everything. I have 100 servers that I am running many of the same tests on. For example a ping test to see if they are alive. I nw create a test for each server. Is there a way to create one or a few to handle all of the servers. Right now it takes too much time to modify and or add new tests. I created the variable but cannot seem to get it to work how I would expect. Please detail for me if possible.
Thanks

Usually variables helps to use single alert profile for many tests. But if you want to monitor 100 server, you must create 100 tests.
If all your server in the same network, you may create 100 ping tests within 2-3 min. When you setup ping test a range of IP addresses (e.g. 123.123.123.1 - 123.123.123.254) rather than a single address can be specified. In this case, HostMonitor will create a separate test for each of the addresses within that range.
Also you may use Replicator to replicate your tests.

BTW: 100 servers is not "too many". Some of our customers monitor 5,000-6,000 servers

If I use the replicator how can I enter IP's but get the test to resolve and show the test by the server name not the IP. It is easier to look at the tests by name not IP |

If you want to enter list of your server manually, type name of servers instead of IP addresses.
If you use Replicator's Network Scanner to find your servers, select "Use name for replication" option.
