I uploaded test program at www.ks-soft.net/download/ptest.exe
Its command line utility. Could you start it (e.g. ptest.exe \\127.0.0.1) and post result?

According to log - application can connect to performance pseudo-registry, error appears when program reads counters.
Could you start new version of the utility? www.ks-soft.net/download/ptest.exe

I Ran the Extensible counter again and perfproc.dll is enabled Here is the detailed info below:

After numerous searches on the internet, I think that I found the solution. I copied the following files from oneof my other servers to the srver that is giving me issues with monitoring processes. I copied perfc009.dat and perfh009.dat to the system32 directory. I went into Host Monitor and created a test that monitors a process and low and behold it worked!

I am Not sure what the issue was, but the date of the files were out of sync when I compared them to the same files on other severs. This is a Windows 2000 machine, maybe a service pack or update screwed theses files and didnt get updated correctly?? Who knows, I am just happy its working !
