CPU Usage test and which ports its using?

Post by dgk »

Hello.
I decided to setup CPU usage test. I can connect to the servers that are on the same network here at the office but I am havin some issues to setup that test to our servers that are at the different location. I am thknking its because certain ports are probably blocked in our firewall. What ports should be open in order to be able to monitor CPU tests? I can ping the servers and I already have setup hard drive space using UNC path with all the servers at the other location.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

HostMonitor must use Remote Procedure Calls for this test. Windows RPC system may use different ports above #1024. So, you have 2 solutions
- open too many ports (disable firewall)
- or install Remote Monitoring Agent (RMA) on remote network
