I think I asked this before in the past but I do not remember..
Some of our log files have a lower case naming convention, such as sdc_jan_02 and sdc_apr_17.
In Hostmonitor we can check for Jan and Apr but I see nothing listed as checking for jan or apr.
Is there a way to do a file availability check for these sorts of names or to do a case insensitive search for such things?

Actually "File/Folder Availability" test is case insensitive, unless you are monitoring UNIX system (using RMA).
What file system you are checking?
