Remote control of monitoring

I want to be able to turn monitoring off and/or remotely via a dos command – is this possible?

I think you may use Telnet Service: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/teln ... /index.htm
It supports "start monitoring" and "stop monitoring" commands.
