Resolve Macro-Variables within mailattachment filename

Hi Alex,

we are using mail-notifications on alerts. The tests generate various files with further informations about their test-results.

I want to attach one or more of these detailed textfiles in case of an alert.

For that reason it will be great if AHM would resolve macrovariable and support wildcards within the attachmentfilename.

Actually HostMonitor supports wildcards within the attachment filename. But it does not attach all files that match pattern, just 1st one.
H'm, macro variables? Do you want to specify name of the file within test properties (comment line)?

Alex,
to use comment line is not sufficiently. It will be better to allow full flexibility - for example like

Code: Select all

c:\program files\hostmonitor\mailfiles\%TestName%_%YYYY-MM-DD%_errordetails.txt

Why do not allow all macro variable as well as "user defined variables" ?
