no results received from Shell Sript

Hi Alex
I'm running Hostmonitor V4.70 on Windows2000Server.

All my shell-script tests return the same message: "no Results received"
Then I tried your shipped example "bat script sample" which prints the following output in the "Let's Try" tab.

[16:28:30] HostMonitor is going to execute "bat script sample: File Compare" script ...
[16:28:30] Script started, no results received

I unistalled 4.70 and installed it fresh - no affect.

What to do?

May be HostMonitor cannot create temporary file for some reason....
Does HostMonitor have access to directory specified by TMP or TEMP environ varable? HostMonitor started as service or as application? What user account do you use to run HostMonitor?

Hi Alex,
a good idea to check environment variables. The TEMP and TMP has been correct, but there was no entry in PATH to "C:\program files\HostMonitor".

After fixing that all was running fine.
