Delete tests by name

I would like to be able to delete tests using hms scripts.

Something like this:

DeleteTestByName <TestName>

HostMonitor supports "DeleteTest <testname>" command but this is "undocumented" command. Better avoid using it.

Well what would you suggest using to delete tests.

I have an interface using hms scripts that allows users to create tests but there is no way to delete them. Is there an alternative?

No, there are no better alternative yet. On the one heand we do not plan to remove this command, so you can use it. On the other hand it was not tested enough, so I cannot guarantee you will not have any problems (just 95% of success).

I would like to request that this function receive proper testing and be moved to a 100% supported status in a future release of HM.

I am not sure we will publish this option before version 5.0
