Just tried host-mon 4.40 on Wn XP pro with SNMP test to cisco switch - got above error message instead of test run.
Search on forum didn't give any tips.
Quick googling on mgmtapi.dll suggested installing SNMP service - done that, but still no luck - no mgmtapi.dll in system32 dir. However, I had win2k AS nearby and copying mgmapi.dll and wsnmp.dll over to WinXP Pro
system32 resolved the problem.
Hope this might help somebody.
Looks like Windows installation problem. Normally Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 (any edition) and even Windows NT 4.0 has mgmtapi.dll
