What the reason? Usually ftp, http protocols enabled on firewalls. If you want to check just connection to server from another location, you may use pin, tcp, udp tests.
Do I miss something?

Hi Alex,
The reason is we have a windows box with 2 NIC's on two different subnets. One NIC connected with is our normal LAN (same as Hostmonitor), the other NIC is connected for a specific separated FTP transfer. I want HM to test FTP (login, path/file, ..) via RMA.
For now, I check the FTP port via TCP connection test.
