We have one configuration where 1 server runs the RMA agent across the internet from our Hosmton console. It tests 5 other servers. 3 of them (Dell Servers) test fine with every type of test. 2 other test fine on most. But on these they will intermittently miss half of the Service tests saysing (error 301-the RPC server is not avilable. On Dirve space and CPU tests we can never get them to work and they report (Access is Denied for the drive space and Cannot COnnect to the Remote Registry on CPU tests. Remote Registry is running on both machines.
I know I could put an agent on each server and that will solve the problem but I would like to be able to have just one because we may not have enough external Internet Ip's to map to the inside servers.
Tips?
RMA Error 301
I don't know what the reason for problem with RPC server.
I think you have problem with drive space (you use UNC test?) and CPU Usage test due to lack of rights. CPU Usage test needs administrator's privileges.
If RMA started as service, specify user account with administrator's rights using standard Service application.
