Problem with TCP-test

Post by niemijuh »

OS: Windows2000 + SP3 and Hm 3.71

Problem: when TCP-test goes "bad" no database logging happend but when it goes up, database logging happends. Also email sending happends both cases.

So, problem with logging, not with test. How did you setup ODBC logging? Using Advanced Logging page in the Options dialog? Or using "SQL Query" action? What settings do yo use?

This is part of nornal textlog

--------
[12.09.2003 14:23:39] SAP_Router (141.192.41.8) No answer TCP (port - 3299)
[12.09.2003 14:25:40] SAP_Router (141.192.41.8) Host is alive 0 ms TCP (port - 3299)

I think we need your settings for testing. Could you export settings of this test into text file (menu File->Export to text file->Export selected test(s)) and send to us along with hostmon.ini file
