Version 10 issues?

Post by Kris »

Hi everyone,

I want to update from 9.90 to 10.
Just curious if anyone had issues with the update.

You know, just in case :-)

Thanks!

We did not receive any bug reports regarding version 10.06 or 10.08

It worked, however now it says "Unregistered Version"...

Do I need to re-register or something?

Normally HostMonitor should check your registration codes and warn you when you need new codes BEFORE actual update,
unless you have disabled "Update check" option that is located on Misc page in the Options dialog.
In such case you may use menu Help->Update check to verify license BEFORE update.

Each license comes with "Free updates" term.
E.g.: Enterprise license comes with 12 month of Free updates term: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/regmon.htm#newprice

If you have license with "Lifetime updates", just contsct sales@ks-soft.net for new registartion codes.

Just dug into the administration and found that our license expired November '15.

Requested a quote for new extension already :)

My bad, I guess....

upgrade Hostmonitor - Licence issue

Post by Lethuillier »

Hello,

We upgraded hosmonitor 9 to 10.10 and now the product is unregistered.
We sent an email to support@ks-soft.net and sales@ks-soft.net but we didn't receive any answer.
We have a lifetime licence.
Could someone help us?

Regards.

2) I do not see your e-mail in our database.
Could you please provide your registration name and/or order number?

3) We respond to all e-mails within 24 hours (business days). Probably we already sent you new registration codes. Please check your spam filter settings

We did not receive 1st - 3rd email but we received 4th (just replied).
Strange, we did not change anything on our mail server recently.

Does HostMonitor system have access to internet (it needs to check www.ks-soft.net using HTTP protocol)?
Probably somebody have seen this message, just forgot about warning related to registration codes?
Anyway, its good idea to perform check before update
Also, usually you can restore old version within 1-2 minutes (old version works with old codes while new version may request new codes).

YES

I don't remember to have had any warning message but I'll take care the next time.

I'll do that at the next upgrade

The upgrade was mandatory for security reason.

Sébastien
