Is there a list of changes/features for the Beta v10?

Network discovery - there are many changes for this feature.
- You will be able to setup LANs to scan and HostMonitor will keep some basic information regarding your hosts, even if tests not set yet. If you have some tests, network map will group them per hosts basis. E.g. host cell will be painted in red if any test item that checks some parameter of this host has "bad" status.
- You will be able to search for some hosts using simple search string or expressions like ('%OS%'=='Windows 6.3') and ('%WMI%'=='ON') and ('%AliveRatio%'<'90 %').
- You will be able to replicate tests for many hosts using expressions as well, e.g. ('%OS%'=='Windows 6.3') and ('%IP%'>'10.10.5.150')

- System info
- Menu [View->RCI status] for RCC application

- New operators for Optional status processing
- About 50-150% faster (depends on settings) Custom HTML reports
- A lot of small improvements and corrections

MIB Browser improvements, e.g.
- Get row
- Get next N items

Some improvements for
- VMWare related tests,
- WMI test,
- Count Files test
- New SNMP Table test related variables

Also we are preparing code for High availability cluster mode but this option will not be released in version 10.00. It should be released around version 10.50
Also there will be SMART test method - checks hard disk health state.

Regards
Alex

Exciting!

Would be awesome if the network discovery did MAC address lookup and attempted to ID the hardware ;)

I've not seen it mentioned anywhere, but I would love some direct management options - the ability to remotely easily run arbitrary commands on RMA machines - or even a micro-agent (or perhaps just psexe) to allow remote RMA's to command other machines too...

Very much looking forward to v10... no pressure or anything ;)

Cheers!

Yes, HM will do this.

May be later, not in version 10.00

Sure, we will upload Beta before release.
Don't forget to send bug reports to support@ks-soft.net
(usually a lot of people download beta version but does not send any reports)
