SNMP alert

I retrieve the latest selfttest date from an UPS with SNMP. I would like to retrieve an email when the latest test result is longer than 2 weeks ago.

I found in hostmonitor to set the date manually to see if its older than the date I inserted, but I didn't found it update automatically.

Is that possible?

Does your UPS provide date as a string? Then I do not see option that can help you.
May be it can provide similar information using some integer counters (e.g. return number of days or day of the year)?

At the first look, it only returns a string of the date. I'll look further for other possibilities.
