License question

Post by bbackx »

A quick license question:
We are currently running HostMonitor 8.54 and have a license for 8.06+
We bought an Enterprise license in September 2009, without the lifetime updates.
Just to be sure: can we still upgrade to the latest version (8.86) with the current license? I think updating to versions above 9.0 will not be possible (when it is released ;) ), but as long as we're in the 8.x versions there's no problem...

Cheers,
Ben

Its better to use e-mail sales@ks-soft.net for such questions.
I don't think you can update to latest version because Enterprise license comes with 12 months of "free updates" term.

Normally HostMonitor should check your registration codes and warn you when you need new codes BEFORE actual update, unless you have disabled "Update check" option that is located on Misc page in the Options dialog.
In such case you may use menu "Help"->"Update check" to verify license before update.

Hi Alex,

You're right. A mail I received previous (last year or so) from sales was a bit misleading (""8.06+" means version 8.06 or higher. You don't need new registration codes.")
I wonder if we can update to 8.68 (this was released within a year of our renewal), but I'll verify this with sales.
