My apologies then, no RMA is being used, as monitoring is all done from the machine that hosts the hostmon application. Reverting to 8.72 seems to work and I do not get the errors, I will downgrade for now and revisit the newer versions at a later time perhaps.

I think you may easily setup RMA to perform these tests and use updated RMA to check if this fix the problem.
If your license does not allow you to use RMA, we can provide update for HostMontor...
