Pressing F1 in HM gives an Error:1) I assume you already have HostMonitor running. So press F1 button to open "Help" window and click "RMA" link.

Not sure why I would want to run the config utility on the HM machine that shouldn't have the RMA installed but ok, do that and it says version 4.05... is that the latest? If not then it obviously didn't get upgraded properly. Do I have to select the Windows RMA on the HM machine when I do the install/upgrade even if I don't want to install it? A bit counter-intuitive. Perhaps some help information in the installer would be good (will add that to my wishlist in the other post).2) you may start rma_cfg utility, it will show RMA version.
Not clear on what you mean here, what RMA? The rma-active.exe file on the HM server? Or do I need to unzip the installer package?3) RMA shows its version as well
I just unzipped the installer and found that the version is 4.08 so I obviously need to do this each time and replace the copy on the server so that I can upgrade and send to new servers.
So I should be doing an Enterprise Install not a custom install? I just think this can all be simpler and clearer, so that I don't waste so much time making sure I get it right each time. If all I need to do is select RMA on the HM server install even though I am not installing the RMA then great, I will do that.If you have Enterprise license, you should use Enterprise installation mode.
I just rechecked the manual and it does mention it (on page 408!), but I am sure that I will forge this again, so just looking for a way to streamline this so it relies less on me finding the right bits in the manual to read each time. I also read on page 437 that it says RMA will not be installed, but everything else will... but I don't want RCC installed for example.
I guess I will need to make it a habit to create a custom RMA installation everytime a new version is released. I need to write my own README file to follow for upgrades!
