All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
I want to check wmi on a remote system (e.g. win 2008 std server).
I put the firewall off, and enabled wmi in global group policy.
I put into Host the IP adress, name space root\cimv2 and query SELECT Name FROM Win32_Service WHERE Started=0 AND StartMode='Auto' to check the stopped Services.
If I want to connect until wmi to the host, I get the errormessage error: The RPC-Server is not available.
H'm.. do you have installed some antivirus monitors, personal firewall, content monitoring software? Non stanard winsock components?
Does "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" component is enabled?
