not only as hostmonitor (host machine) but also as client (rma client)

Is there Windows 7? As I know there is release candidate only.
Unofficially - we have tested our software on Windows 7 Beta. It works but on one system Windows crashed completely several times. While it worked fine on other system.
Officially - usually we do not support any Windows until Service Pack 2 because 1st releases of Windows contain critical bugs. "Use it on you own risk"

Besides, to say that all first releases contain critical bugs ignores the fact that I continue to get 'Critical Releases' from Microsoft for an OS (XP, Server 2003) that's been released for more than five years.
Suggestion: You'd probably be better served stating that you won't officially support a platform until (xx) months following it's release, giving Microsoft AND yourself time to work out the kinks. Not to mention the fact that it gives your customer base a more reliable target date to shoot for.
I think its not really about some numbers like versions or time, its about bugs.
Windows 2000 (1st release) was not too bad however some bugs (including critical bugs that could crash application) were included there, then fixed, then they come back again. I would say it worked without any critical problems after SP4 (or may be SP2 and SP4).
Windows XP was really really bad OS. SP1 did not fixed all problems, while XP SP2 is pretty nice system.
Windows 2003? Well, some bugs that were fixed in Windows 2000 SP2 came back again. However SP1 is stable as we know (SP2 even better).
Anyway, we cannot predict when Microsoft bugs will be added or fixed. So, we cannot tell you that Windows 7 release will be bad while Windows 7 SP1 will be good. May be Windows 7 release will be the best Windows ever and Windows 7 SP1 will be full of bugs? We don't know. If you need some warranty/promises regarding future versions of the Windows, ask Microsoft. No us.
When we and 1000 other customers will use Windows 7 and HostMonitor for several months and nobody report critical the problem, then we will say we recommend it.
