Hm. Sorry, I cannot confirm the problem. "Send Message to ICQ" action works fine in our environment.
Do you see any error messages in "System Log" (menu "View" -> "System Log")? Please ensure "Record info about successful actions" and "Record info about failed actions" options are enaled in "Options" -> "System Log" tab.
Regards,
Max

Today users of all these alternative IM clients (me included as I’ve been using Miranda for at least 5 years now) have suddenly lost access to ICQ after AOL changed the protocol again (something the company has been doing with ICQ protocol way too frequently lately).
....
But given the fact that Russia is probably the most important market for ICQ while people in other countries forgot about ICQ long ago this looks like AOL is trying to fight for the market share of its official ICQ clients in Russia - without causing much noise from the users in the US and other countries.

Re: Again
Actually, looks like protocol is not changed. AOL just rejects requests from Russian IPs, I suppose. Our customers from other regions reported everything works fine and HostMonitor is able to send ICQ messages as well.EvaKlim wrote:Not working ICQ alerts from servers in Russia.
AOL changed protocol again! Russia in black list.
Hm. What can I say?

Have you thought about Jabber? Now we are redesigning Jabber module and in next release "Send message to Jabber" action will support TLS/SSL, SASL auth and will support Google Talk protocol. http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #actJabber

Could you provide here several proxies and alternative server names and ports we can use for testing, please?EvaKlim wrote:I think you can't help us right now but if in options will be feature that give ICQ alerts go through proxy or we can change ICQ server and port manually like in Jabber options...
We can use our (ICQ) proxies in other countries.
