Is there an x64 version of Host Monitor? If not, will there be? When?
If not than I assume there is no benefit to running it on a x64 OS, correct?
Host Monitor & x64
There is no x64 version. We do not plan to create x64 version of HostMonitor in nearest time ( version 8 ). May be version 9...
On the other hand HostMonitor uses a lot of Windows functions (especially GUI and file related API). This means if you start x86 application on Windows x64, you should see some improvements.
Note: If you are using 64bit Windows and you want to setup ODBC Logging or ODBC test method, you should create Datasources using 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator (C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe).

Well, HostMonitor is not some data processing software like SQL server, it does not need to process large amount of data on local system, it is network monitoring program. This means most of the time program waits for response from remote systems. So, even if we create x64 version of the software, it will not work much faster because x64 application will wait for data from remote system exactly in the same way like x86 application does.If not than I assume there is no benefit to running it on a x64 OS, correct?

I assume you are talking about moving existing pre-configured HostMonitor installation from one system to another?
Well, you may install using any path. I would recommend to move HostMonitor using exactly the same path on remote system.
Also, you may use export/import feature (see menu File). You may export test settings into text file (like this http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/examples/import1.htm), use any text editor to search&replace path, set "ImportMode = Modify" and import test settings back into testlist (HML file)

Private log files? If you are using the same path for several files, you may select all test items and click Edit to modify common test properties for all selected items at once.I know I have to modify my INI files but what about each test's log files? Do I have to edit each test and change the path or is there a global method?
