Maintenence scedule

Post by zarobhr »

I would like to see some type of maintence scedule that could be setup and applied to individual tests and or tests in folder

the purpose of this would be to allow disabling the test(s) during certain time frames such as when performing server maintaince or when you know in advance servers, power internet etc. will be down

it would allow you to specify date/time range to not run a test

it is close but that looks repetitive. i dont see a way to for example
specify oct 18th from 1pm to 3pm as a no test time either for a single group or folder of tests , today ( presceduled) and then whne that day comes tests arent run at that time. and i dont need to go back and remove the no test time since it would be in the past never happens again

Alex,

Anything new on this one..?

I'm also loking for the possibility to pause tests between to different times.. Also with the right click option when marked tests.. :)

Workflow:
On monday go into RCC, mark the tests that are due for maintenance tuesday evening
Right click, choose pause
Choose the option, to pause between to timestamps
Set in tuesday evening between 20:00 and 22:00
Write a comment, that will be writen to every test, when they go into paused mode

Does this make sence..? :)
