Hi,
I'm experiencing the same issue with a number of URL request tests, throughout the day and night any number of my website tests fail with the result of no answer, however on the same server which runs HM I can browse to the website quickly without any issues.
The server can resolve the name correctly both by IP and domain name. There is no response, timeout or delay issues that could be causing HM to time out.
I'm entering in the url and leaving the rest of the options as default.
The web server isn't being over loaded (we host our own websites), and the tests for this web server show that its doing nothing load wise.
I'm using V7.50 of HM.
Any suggestions? as I dont like being woken up during the night for false positives.
Marcus
URL Request - returns "no answer"
Alex,
the server running HostMonitor is running Windows 2003 Server Rs - SP2, with Internet Explorer 7, all web sites are using the HTTP protocol for site checking. All tests are being checked every minute.
Sure, some of the sites we are having continuous problems with are:
http://www.leighton.co.uk
http://www.leighton.com
http://www.communicatorcorp.co.uk
http://www.communicatorcorp.com
http://www.enthusiasts.australia.com
If you monitor these sites for a number of hours they should fail a number of times, as writing this they are doing it now, and then testing OK on the next text.

We tested these sites for 2 days now
The following web servers failed just once ("No answer" status) at the same time
http://www.leighton.co.uk
http://www.leighton.com
http://www.communicatorcorp.co.uk
I assume there was some network problem, could not investigate it because problem fixed in several seconds
The following servers failed several times ("Bad" status)
http://www.communicatorcorp.com
http://www.enthusiasts.australia.com
These failures had nothing to do with HostMonitor or network. Servers returned HTTP code 500 that means "Internal server error"
If you need to investigate this problem, I would recommend to check servers logs.
Regards
Alex

I don't see antthing strange. I think if you will use your browser to monitor web site www.communicatorcorp.com over several days clicking Refresh button every minute, you will see the same error.
