It would be fantastic to be able to define user variables valid at the level of a folder. The scope of these variables would be the folder and all its subfolders, unless the same variable is defined at a sub-folder level with a different value.
These variables could be used to define test and action parameters, or names of the reports, etc.
Currently the %FCommentLineXX% macro variables can be used (to some extent) for that, but as I will configure systems and put them in the hands of users, it's not as user friendly as having our own variable names (eg. %FHostName%

Of course my idea was to provide links to asset or disaster recovery data, but the idea of subfolder inheritance opens up other possibilities.
