Also we are thinking about SQL database as standard log storage for Professional and Enterprise edition of HostMonitor. Lite and Standard versions still may use file and/or ODBC logging while Enterprise version will work with MS SQL Express and/or Oracle Express servers and store logging, statistics and some folder-level information in predefined tables.
This will allow us to significantly improve Log Analyzer, create new type of reports, etc.
I agree that it's a good idea, but rather than making it a requirement I would encourage users to implement SQL logging if they wish to use certain "high level" functionality, such as Log Analyzer.
