Test status cached in web interface

Post by Snucke »

Hi Alex,

We have had a problem since several versions back that makes the web interface "cache" old test statuses. It keeps showing the maxium number of tests that have ever occured in each status.

This is what it displays right now but there are no bad or unknown tests:

Good tests: 712
Bad tests: 5
Warning: 0
Unknown: 3

The folder tree also keeps the color on a folder that once contained a test with a certain status so i looks like a christmas tree even if no tests have failed.

The figures sometimes goes back to normal for a while after an upgrade but it never lasts.

Had this problem on W2000 and now on 2003Sp2.

I assume you are using Internet Explorer?
Web Service uses special HTTP flags to tell web browser do not store web page in the cache, always request "fresh" information. However IE sometimes ignores these commands and display obsolete information. Unfortunately we cannot fix that, only Microsoft can.

BTW: Netscape and Opera works correcty.

Regards
Alex
